This is a simple, DIY flower seed starting kit. It’s perfect for a fast craft to keep the kids busy! Use the seed starter for yourself or they make an excellent gift for a teacher, bus driver, mail person, gardener or any other person that could use a little fun.
Each kit includes all the materials needed to start some seeds for spring. The project should take approximately 10 minutes. The only material/tool that you need from home is water. Flower seeds seen may vary from actual seeds sent, but will be the exact box chosen. Flower seeds may be allyssum, yellow marigolds, mixed marigolds, or a flower mix.
Crates are mini egg crates and measure 4"x4"x3.5".
Simply remove the green "grass", replace the peat pucks into the crate section and hydrate. You can either disperse the peat puck or leave as is. Sow seeds according to package direction to start then transfer as needed to a larger container or keep in the crate. Or, transfer the peat pucks to a new container and retain the crate for gift gifting.
